On the day: lighting, discretion and backup
Ballrooms are dark and stages are contrasty, so fast lenses and confident low light shooting matter. Coverage should be discreet, moving through sessions without becoming part of the show. And it should be safe: dual card backup running the entire time, with spare bodies on hand.
Deliverables and timelines
Agree the output before the event. A common and effective structure is a same day hero set of the strongest frames for immediate use, followed by the full, colour graded gallery within a few days, delivered with full commercial usage rights.
